Kobus Weyers

Kobus joined Fairtree in 2015 and is the Head of Fairtree Employee Benefits. He brings extensive experience across financial planning, wealth management, and employee benefits. He began his financial services career in 2010 as an independent financial adviser at WALTfin Financial Services. Prior to this, Kobus held senior leadership positions in various industries, including private equity, hospitality, wine, education and property development. Kobus holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree from the University of South Africa. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and two Advanced Postgraduate Diplomas in Estate Planning and Investment Management from the University of the Free State.
