Kobus is the Group CEO and co-founder of Fairtree. He also serves as Chairman of the Private Equity and Operational Real Estate Investment Committees and is an Equity Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. Joe joined Fairtree in 2013 and is a Real Estate Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He plays a key role in overseeing real estate and private equity investments, with a strong focus on asset management, hospitality, and operational real estate strategies. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Joe has held various leadership and advisory roles across multiple companies. He currently serves as a director on numerous portfolio companies. Nic joined Fairtree in 2019 and is a Real Estate Portfolio Manager in the Operational Real Estate team. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Molecular Biology and a Graduate Diploma in Law. He also completed the Bar Vocational Course.

CC joined Fairtree in 2021 and is a Real Estate Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He plays a pivotal role in overseeing real estate investments, with a focus on alternative and operational real estate strategies. Prior to joining Fairtree, he served as the head of Risk Management at Mercantile Bank South Africa for over five years. CC holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Johannesburg.

Sybrand joined Fairtree in 2017 and is a Real Estate Investment Specialist in the Operational Real Estate team. He is also the Director of Business Development at Providence Hotels. He began his career in 2015 at Momentum as a wealth manager and has since held various roles and leadership positions in investment and operational real estate ventures.
