About Zander Wessels

Zander joined Fairtree in 2025 and is a Quantitative Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He began his career in 2018 as a data scientist at NMRQL Research. Zander holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Mathematical Sciences, majoring in Mathematical Statistics, and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) in Statistics, both from Stellenbosch University. He also holds a Master of Commerce in Statistics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Engineering, both from Stellenbosch University.
