Stephen Brown

Stephen joined Fairtree in 2011 and is an Equity Strategist in the Investment team. He began his asset management career in 1997 as an industrial analyst at Southern Asset Management. In 2000, he joined RMB Asset Management as an analyst and later progressed to head of Resources Research, a role he held until the end of 2009. He then transitioned permanently into portfolio management, overseeing both institutional and retail portfolios. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Stellenbosch University and a Master of Business Administration from Stellenbosch Business School. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
