About Clarissa van der Westhuyzen
Clarissa joined Fairtree in 2017 and is an Equity Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. She began her career in 2000 as an audit clerk at KPMG, where she completed her articles. In 2004, she joined Allan Gray as an equity analyst, before moving to Citi in 2011 to work in Equity Sales. Clarissa holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, both from the University of Cape Town. She is also a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a CFA® charterholder.
