2026 Outlook Discussion

Jacobus joined Fairtree in 2011 and is a Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager & Macro Strategist as well as a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. Prior to joining Fairtree, he spent five years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London, where he served as UK Head of Fixed Income and Currency Product Management. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch and is a CFA® charterholder.

Chantelle joined Fairtree in 2017 and is an Equity Portfolio Manager & Head of SA Equity Research in the Investment team. She began her career in 2006 at Deloitte, where she completed her articles. She then joined Barclays Africa, initially working in the Finance team before moving into Equity Research, where she served as a sell-side analyst covering South African banks and general financials. Cornelius joined Fairtree in 2015 as an Equity Analyst and is currently an Equity Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He began his career in 2012 as a trainee accountant at Deloitte. Cornelius holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from the University of Stellenbosch. He is also a Chartered Accountant (SA) and a CFA® charterholder.
