About Chantelle Baptiste
Chantelle joined Fairtree in 2017 and is an Equity Portfolio Manager & Head of SA Equity Research in the Investment team. She began her career in 2006 at Deloitte, where she completed her articles. She then joined Barclays Africa, initially working in the Finance team before moving into Equity Research, where she served as a sell-side analyst covering South African banks and general financials. In 2016, she was ranked #2 in General Financials and #6 in SA Banks in the Financial Mail’s annual analyst rankings. Chantelle holds a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree in Management Accounting from Stellenbosch University and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
