Fund policy
The Fairtree Global Emerging Markets Prescient Feeder Fund is an equity fund that invests into emerging markets. The objective of the Fund is to provide investors with long-term capital growth by investing in emerging market equities. In order to achieve this objective, the Fund will, apart from assets in liquid form, invest solely in participatory interests of the Fairtree Global Emerging Markets Fund domiciled in Ireland.
The Underlying Fund will invest in selected shares across emerging markets in all industry sectors and across the market capitalisation spectrum, including large, mid and small-cap shares. The Fund will be exposed to exchange rate risk. The Fund may also invest in money market instruments and the Manager may, at its discretion, include listed and unlisted financial instruments for the exclusive purpose of hedging exchange rate risk.
