Fairtree Volunteer Programme | Pedal For Good

At Fairtree, enriching the lives of our stakeholders extends beyond the workplace. It’s about investing our time, skills and resources where they can make a lasting difference.

Fairtree volunteers spent an afternoon at False Bay Primary School alongside our Impact Partner, Pedal For Good, helping to complete the bike track we began building last year. The team also rolled up their sleeves to landscape the surrounding area and plant greenery along the trail.

More than just a bike track, this space is designed to support trail therapy for young people from underserved communities, creating opportunities to build confidence, resilience and connection through mountain biking.

One of the highlights of the day was seeing the learners get involved and take ownership of the project. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this initiative will continue to have in the years ahead.

Our partnership with Pedal For Good reflects Fairtree’s commitment to creating meaningful impact, not only through financial support, but also through the time and dedication of our people.

Pedal For Good is a youth development initiative in the Helderberg Basin that uses mountain biking as a tool for trail therapy. Through weekly sessions, the programme supports 120 at-risk young people, helping them develop resilience, healthy habits and positive values on and off the bike.
