Kamini Naidoo

Kamini joined Fairtree in 2026 and is the Head of SA Alternatives and a Multi-Strategy Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. She brings extensive experience in alternatives and portfolio management, having spent 17 years at Momentum Investments. During her time there, she served as a Portfolio Manager in the alternatives business and was responsible for the hedge fund business. In 2024, she took on the dual role of Deputy Chief Investment Officer at the Multi-Manager and Chief Investment Officer of Equilibrium, Momentum’s independent discretionary fund manager. Kamini holds a Bachelor of Science Honours in Computer Science from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Financial Management from the University of South Africa. She also holds a Master’s of Management from Wits Business School and is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charterholder.
