Gabriel Louw

Gabriel joined Fairtree in 2019 and is a Private Equity Investment Principal in the Fairtree Elevant Ventures team. He plays a key role in identifying and partnering with innovative businesses across Europe, with a focus on high-growth businesses with a scalable technological edge. He began his career at PwC in Financial Services Assurance, gaining experience in both Cape Town and Minneapolis, before moving into equity investment management at Stonehage Fleming as a fund manager and senior equity analyst. During his MBA at HEC Paris, Gabriel completed an internship at Credit Suisse in Zurich. He then joined Fairtree to help establish its Netherlands office, contributing to several large transactions within the UK hospitality sector and European property developments. He later transitioned into a full-time role at Fairtree Elevant Ventures. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree from Stellenbosch University and completed an Honours-level course in Economics at the University of Cape Town He also holds a Master of Business Administration from HEC Paris and is a Chartered Accountant (SA) and CFA^® charterholder.
