About Dane Merrick
Dane joined Fairtree in 2015 and is a Fixed Income Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He began his career in 2014 as a commodities markets trader at Futures First in India. He later joined Fairtree, where he held roles as an equity trader and a fixed income quantitative analyst before transitioning into portfolio management. Dane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both from the University of Cape Town. He is also a CFA® charterholder.
