MJ Dippenaar

Michael-John (MJ) joined Fairtree in 2019 and is a Multi-Strategy Analyst in the Investment team. He is also an Infrastructure Analyst, involved in both Debt and Equity mandates. In addition, he is involved in Real Estate and Private Equity transactions across local and global markets.

He was previously part of the Real Estate Private Equity & Operational Real Estate team, based in the UK and operating across the UK, EU and SA. Before joining Fairtree, MJ gained experience in private markets and venture capital, raising capital from private and corporate investors, and co-founded a technology start-up in SA. MJ holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Investment and Financial Management and an Honours degree in Financial Analysis, both from the University of Stellenbosch. He also completed the Summer Institute for General Management at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
