About Kurt van der Walt
Kurt joined Fairtree in 2013 and is a Multi-Strategy Portfolio Manager in the Investment team. He began his career in 2009 at Swiftcover Insurance in London (a division of AXA Insurance, UK) as a quantitative pricing analyst, before joining GSA Capital as an operations analyst. After returning to South Africa, he worked as a hedge fund analyst at RisCura Analytics before joining Fairtree. Kurt holds a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Management from Stellenbosch University and is a CFA® charterholder.
