Susan Visser

Susan joined Fairtree in 2025 and is the Head of Compliance. Before joining Fairtree, she spent twelve years at Sanlam Investments, where she gained extensive experience in key areas of compliance within both the asset management industry and the broader financial services sector. Prior to that, she worked at MMI Group Investment Services and practised as an attorney, conveyancer and notary public. Susan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as a Certificate in Financial Planning from the University of the Free State. She is a certified compliance practitioner and holds the Compliance Practitioner designation from the Compliance Institute of Southern Africa. She is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
