About Portia Meyer

Portia joined Fairtree in 2025 and is a Legal Adviser. She began her legal career in 2008 at Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs, where she completed her articles before taking on various legal advisory roles in the industry. She gained extensive experience in private equity and cross-border transactions. Portia holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the Western Cape and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Cape Town.
