Finance team

Mari joined Fairtree in 2015 and is a Group Financial Manager. She began her career in 2011 as an accountant at Louis Group SA, after completing her articles at PKF South Africa. Mari holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Accounting and Finance and is a Chartered Accountant (SA).

René joined Fairtree in 2019 and is a Financial Manager overseeing the Fairtree Group’s international finances. She began her career in 2013 at PwC South Africa, where she spent nearly seven years in the financial services audit division, including three years as an audit manager. René holds a Bachelor of Accounting Honours degree from Stellenbosch University and is a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Lize-Marie joined Fairtree in 2025 and is a Senior Group Accountant in the Finance team. She began her career in Assurance Services at PKF Cape Town, where she completed her articles. Lize-Marie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Chartered Accounting and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting, both from North-West University. She is a Chartered Accountant (SA).

Adéle joined Fairtree in 2016 and is a Group Accountant in the Finance team. She began her career in 2004 as an admin clerk in the Finance team at Louis Group International, where she eventually became the senior bookkeeper. She then worked as an audit clerk at GA Maclachlan Inc. In 2013, she joined Providence Hospitality Management, part of the Fairtree group, as Group Accountant. Marike joined Fairtree in 2021 and is a Group Accountant in the Finance team. She began her career in 2015 and completed her SAIPA articles at SDK Chartered Accountants in 2017. In 2018, she joined BFS Konsult as an accounting manager. Marike holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Management Accounting and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, both from Stellenbosch University.

Mariaan joined Fairtree in 2023 and is a Bookkeeper in the Finance team. She began her career in 2014 as a bookkeeper at Box Dynamix. Mariaan holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Business Studies from the University of Greenwich, London. She also holds an International Diploma in Business and an International Advanced Diploma in Business.

Eloise joined Fairtree in 2025 and is an Accounts Administrator in the Finance team. She began her career in 2007 as a receptionist, and over time, expanded her role to support the accounts department and gained experience in payroll, creditors, debtors and bookkeeping. Eloise holds a Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
