What is the Fairtree Foundation?
At Fairtree we are committed and passionate about using our time and financial resources to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable communities.
Through our Fairtree Impact programme, we dedicate our time and financial resources to social upliftment initiatives, empowering our impact partners to thrive and amplifying our collective impact within the communities we serve. As a Level 2 accredited BEE contributor, we collaborate with organisations that share our commitment to community development.

Fairtree Volunteer Programme
The Fairtree Volunteer Programme is a structured initiative designed to encourage and enable our employees to engage in volunteer activities that help our impact partners flourish and multiply the positive impact we can make together in the communities where we operate.

Yellowwood Reforestation Project
Fairtree has partnered with the Cape Parrot Project and the Wild Bird Trust to plant at least 10,000 indigenous trees over three years – and this is only the beginning. Fairtree wants to give back what was lost – indigenous forests that provide a canopy for fauna and flora to flourish while limiting water depleting exotic species.

A burgeoning indigenous forest has been planted on the De Rust Farm in Elgin, home of Paul Clüver Family Wines in an initiative aimed at furthering natural and community sustainability.

Pedal Project
Pedal Project offers a trail therapy program for at-risk youths in Macassar, Strand, and Jamestown, outside Stellenbosch. Through physical activity in a natural environment combined with mental and emotional development opportunities, the program encourages the formation of positive values and healthy habits, fostering resilient young people both on and off the bike.

Life Child
Life Child was established to champion the social expression of Life Church in Africa. Life Child exists to reach orphan and vulnerable children and restore communities for generational change. Life Child initiatives are focused on building firm foundations for the education, health, welfare, spiritual development, relationships of children across life phases and focus areas, creating a platform for community transformation for future generations.

Endurocad
SA Endurance Academy (Endurocad), a non-profit company was founded 10 years ago with the vision of becoming the most proficient athlete’s development academy in Africa. The holistic model incorporates athletics, education and personal development to ensure sustainable success for athletes. The Academy is also a vehicle for social change, where we nurture and empower young South Africans with one of the programs, ACHIEVE specifically focussing on young women!

KIN Culture
KIN Culture’s mission is to build and support a community of loving, generous families to provide homes for vulnerable children. They focus on recruiting and supporting foster families and raising awareness of the need for foster care in the community.

Learn2Live
Learn2Live aims to create a society where children and adults have proper educational opportunities, focusing on early childhood development and sustainable living. Their work emphasizes the first 1000 days (about 2 and a half years) of a child’s life, covering stimulation, nutrition, love and safety to set up better learning success.

Carel Du Toit Trust
The Carel du Toit Trust raises funds to ensure the sustainability of the Carel du Toit Centre in Parow, Cape Town. The centre provides children with hearing impairments with the appropriate hearing technology and a structured pre-primary school environment with an early intervention program.

Calling Education
Calling Education is a non-profit company with a Christian foundation and ethos, inspiring, equipping, and growing leaders through innovative low-fee schools. Their vision is to provide high-quality education to learners from low-income communities, with schools in Stellenbosch and Kroonstad.
